Welcome Reception

We will have a welcome reception at the conference venue, the Radisson Blu Hotel (301 Argyle Street, Glasgow, G2 8DL) in Glasgow city centre. 

 

Civic Reception

Monday 25th March, 19:00-21:00

On Monday, we will have a Civic Reception with a finger buffet at the wonderful Glasgow City Chambers (82 George Square, Glasgow, G2 1DU), hosted by the Lord Provost of Glasgow. Glasgow City Chambers is one of the city’s most prestigious buildings and is located in the heart of the city centre overlooking George Square. The building contains many examples of visual and tactile fine art, and contains what is reputed to be the biggest marble staircase in the world (which has been featured in many films).

 

 

Conference Banquet 

Tuesday 26th March, 19:30-23:30

The banquet dinner will be held at the Crowne Plaza (Congress Road, Glasgow, G3 8QT) on the evening of Tuesday 26th March, where attendees will enjoy a four course Scottish-influenced dinner. During the evening, the winners of the awards in the different paper categories will be announced, followed by some dancing and Scottish music.
